![]() A free spa treatment during a layover?! Well, its partially to good to be true. We even had a waiter come by regularly to ask us if we needed anything else to drink! Now for the part of this Centurion Lounge review that every lady has been waiting for, the Spa. If I remember correctly, the complimentary vodka was grey goose to give you an idea of what to expect. The complimentary beverage service offered almost anything you could want, other than say a glass of wine from a $100 bottle. Yes, it was a full meal and not just a few pretzels and apples. In the Miami Centurion Lounge, the food and beverage menu was designed by celebrity chef Michelle Bernstein and it was truly fabulous. The food and beverage offerings were well beyond what you usually get at airport lounges. The Centurion Lounges offer a full buffet style meal, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, children’s area with Wii, business center, and even a freaking SPA!!! Oh yeah, and Amex won’t charge you a penny for any of this. Simply put, they suck in comparison to the complimentary amenities offered at the Centurion lounges. Specifically, I am am American Advantage club member and the American Air lounges pale in comparison to the Centurion Lounges. You should look for spots like this one.Įven though the Miami Amex Centurion Lounge was crowded, it was still da bomb! Now, I have been to my fair share of airport lounges so I feel as though I can be fair in reviewing the Amex Centurion Lounges. The most crowded area is typically the tables near the bar and buffet. However, there are plenty of tucked away places to work, relax or eat. We recently had a very long delay in Miami so I had ample opportunity to check out the Miami American Express Centurion Lounge.įirst and foremost, it was crowded. Other American Express cardholders can gain access to the lounge by paying a fee.Īpparently, Amex was feeling extra generous because platinum and centurion card holders can also bring in 2 guests for FREE or all immediate family members with whom they are traveling. with gorgeous nails.Amex Centurion Lounge Miami: Everything You Wanted to KnowĪmerican Express is finally stepping up its game with complimentary Centurion Lounge access for platinum and centurion card members. Personally though, I wouldn’t waste time to arrive to the airport early to visit this place, but it’s a great place to refresh yourself if your plane happens to be nearby. Aside from the extreme crowding during peak times of travel, the lounge offers premium amenities for its cardholder members to take advantage of. Overall, AMEX Centurion Lounge Miami is a great addition to the Centurion lounge portfolio. On a positive note though, there still are spaces around the lounge for privacy. That being said, when I came to the lounge again at the end of the weekend, this place got super packed! So watch out for peak travel times… eating a quick meal… watching American Airlines planes taking off at the tarmac… all thanks to Amex Business/Personal Platinum Card. Getting nails done… drinking a nice cocktail…. Gotta say, it was lovely ❤ I think Paul should do manicures more often…Īfter the lovely holistic experience, we take in the gorgeous Miami airport views at the Centurion bar. ![]() The Exhale spa interior is very relaxing with warm towels available for use.Īfterwards, a manicurist greets us to her table and starts the treatment. With the wedding vibes in the air, Paul decided to spoil his nails with a nice hand massage and manicure. Would you like to make an appointment at our spa? Our next massage availability is in half an hour or there’s a manicure service available right now if you like. ![]() Luckily, the plane landed conveniently at Concourse D, so we decided to relax a little bit upstairs at AMEX’s Centurion Lounge.Īt check-in, the staff proactively asks Paul: Um… no thanks “oh don’t worry about me, I’m fine!” (I think) Yes… refusing to pay 85K+ miles for First Class on a domestic flight, Paul forced himself to slum it in economy. Upon arriving at Miami International Airport, Paul was a little tired from his 6+ hours flight. For those curious, this credit goes to the spa at AMEX’s MIA Centurion Lounge. Notice Paul’s shiny nails above? □ Well now, thank you for (not) noticing. With no loyalty program, Paul resisted the splurge and opt to use his Hyatt free nights at the Hyatt Centric South Beach & The Confidante Miami hotel.įrom Sydney, New York, and Los Angeles, friends from afar reunited with the bride & groom. Hotel rates that weekend went north of $500 USD/night. It was an intimate & luxurious event off the Atlantic coast at the Nobu Hotel. And not too long ago, a wedding took me to the city of Miami. It’s a great excuse to travel with your close friends/families to places you don’t normally frequent.
